Net Interest Rate DifferentialThe difference in interest rates from the countries of two different currencies. For example, if the spot next rate for the Euro is 3.25% and the spot/next rate in the US is 1.75%, the interest differential is 1.50% (3.25% - 1.75% = 1.50%).
Net Position
The amount of currency bought or sold which have not yet been offset by opposite transactions.
Netting
The method of settling under which only the differences in the traded currencies are settled at the close.

We're all getting ready for Christmas and there aren't many trading days left this year. Although I'm still trying to grapple with where the dollar's headed next year. My feeling is that it's going to be much the same as this - all over the place, but possibly on the ascendant over the year, mainly due the instability in the Eurozone.

G'day Blogger, what a great blog you have here, been entertained by the read. Just noticed that my intended brief time visiting blogs looking for commodity trading currency items has run into a couple of hours. Easily done when you get engrossed in what people write about.
