Ultimate OscillatorIntroduced by Larry Williams, the Ultimate Oscillator combines the price action for three different time periods which represent short, intermediate, and long term market cycles, into one number. Typically a 7-day period, a 14-day period, and a 28-day period are used. The oscillator moves between 0 and 100 with 50 as the center line. 70 and 30 represent overbought and oversold levels. Trading signals are also derived from divergence and a breakout in the Oscillator's trend.
Unrealized Gain/Loss
The theoretical gain or loss on Open Positions valued at current market rates, as determined by the broker in its sole discretion. Unrealized Gains' Losses become Profits/Losses when position is closed.
Up-thrust
Up-thrust describes a price movement that breaks through resistance, but rapidly retraces back below the resistance level, unable to maintain momentum. An Up-thrust is the opposite of a spring.
Uptick
A transaction executed at a price greater than the previous transaction.
Uptick Rule
In the U.S., a regulation whereby a security may not be sold short unless the last trade prior to the short sale was at a price lower than the price at which the short sale is executed.
US Dollar
The legal tender of the United States of America.
US Prime Rate
The interest rate at which US banks will lend to their prime corporate customers.

G'day Blogger, what a great blog you have here, been entertained by the read. Just noticed that my intended brief time visiting blogs looking for 4x currency trading items has run into a couple of hours. Easily done when you get engrossed in what people write about. I should really use 4x currency trading as a search term but then I might miss places such as this post. Besides which working all the time is boring.

Hi Blogger, oh dear, I'm getting sqaure eyed here - must have been spending too much time reading blogs and currency trading tutorial information. Well, Christmas is over and we're all getting ready for the new year - so no more trading this year. I hope you did well. Personally I'm highly satisfied with the year. Although I'm still trying to grapple with where the dollar's headed next year. My feeling is that it's going to be much the same as this - all over the place, but possibly on the ascendant over the year, mainly due the instability in the Eurozone. And as for stocks, I think the safest thing is to stick to trading the indices. There's still too much downward pressure.
I'm personally bullish on dollar and oil futures, although I'm in for the long haul.

With regrards to your post I realize that my methods aren't yet up to scratch. I was lurking around blogger for topics on home business and I ended up on your blog. I'm usually more interested in Managed Forex. It is reasonable because this is how we work in real life too. I thought your blog was great because it's a great way to learn more about trading.
